NAPLES, FL (October 2019) – The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club announced that its elaborate Thanksgiving Day Buffet, a time-honored tradition for many, will be returning to the resort once again this year. You can forget about the stress of preparing a feast for the whole family, and enjoy all of your favorite traditional Thanksgiving fare without the hassle. There will be a wide assortment of offerings sure to please all of your loved ones, according to Jason Parsons, the resort’s general manager.

From noon-5 p.m. on Thursday, November 28, 2019, The River of Grass Ballroom will become the home of the Thanksgiving Day Buffet. The buffet will feature a carving station, where a team of chefs will serve Roasted Whole Turkey with Gravy and Cranberry Sauce, as well as Roasted Rib of Beef with Rosemary Jus and Creamy Horseradish Sauce. Additional entrees available at the buffet will include Sun-dried Tomato Florida Grouper with Bercy Sauce, and Braised Pork Shoulder with Andouille Sausage and White Beans Fricassee. In addition, a pasta station will offer a choice of Ziti, Spinach Tortellini, and Butternut Squash Ravioli, with a selection of Pesto, Pomodoro, and Alfredo sauces and toppings including Shrimp, Squashes, Peppers, Mushrooms, and Pancetta.

The Thanksgiving Day Buffet will also have a Chilled Seafood Station, featuring a variety of fresh fish and shellfish from the Gulf and beyond, including Chilled Cocktail Shrimp, Gulf Oysters on the Half Shell, Prince Edward Island Mussels, Snow Crab Claws with Tangy Cocktail Sauce, Atlantic Salmon, Idaho Trout, and Mahi. Greens offered will include a salad bar featuring Florida Greens, Baby Spinach, and Romaine Lettuce, as well as several composed salads such as a Tabbouleh Salad with Feta Cheese and Romaine Leaves, and Hari Cots Vert with Bacon and Caramelized Onions and Dijon Vinaigrette.

Other options will include a Cheeses and Charcuterie Station, a Soup and Bread Station, and house-made bakery items such as Orange Cranberry Muffins and Artesian Bread. Sides will include Candied Yams topped with Marshmallow Brulée, Whipped Potatoes, and a Seasonal Fresh Vegetable Medley.

An array of dessert options will include an Interactive Crepe Station, Carrot Cake, Apple Strudel, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Godiva Chocolate Fudge Cake, and a selection of Mini Pastries, as well as a classic Thanksgiving favorite, Pumpkin Pie.

Children may dine at the main buffet, or choose to enjoy a special Children’s Buffet. Options will include Chicken Tenders with Barbecue and Honey Mustard Sauces, Turkey Sliders, Mini Corn Dogs, Fish Sticks, Macaroni & Cheese, PB&J, Finger Sandwiches, and desserts such as Cherry Cake Lollipops, Jell-O Shooters, and Rice Crispy Bars.

The Thanksgiving Buffet is $75 per adult, $30 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Tax and gratuity are additional, but complimentary valet parking is included. For reservations or additional information, call 239-261-2222.

For those who would prefer table-service dining at the resort’s HB’s on the Gulf, the beachfront restaurant will be offering special Thanksgiving Day Offerings on Thursday, November 28, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. for lunch and from 5 – 10 p.m. for dinner.

The HB’s on the Gulf Thanksgiving Day Lunch Special, available for $28 per person (plus tax and gratuity), will feature Hand-Carved Roasted Turkey, with Sage Chestnut Stuffing and Gravy. It will be served with Candied Yams, French Green Beans, Whipped Potatoes, and Cranberry Sauce. The meal will be topped off with Pumpkin Pie for dessert. For reservations, call 239-435-4347.

The Thanksgiving Day Dinner Special at HB’s on the Gulf will consist of the same entrée and sides; plus a choice of a Roasted Corn and Sweet Potato Bisque soup or a Baby Kale and Pumpkin Salad; and the choice of Pumpkin Pie or Apple Almond Cake and Pecan Praline with Apple Brandy Chantilly for dessert.
